This pillow is a beautiful, and classic style lumbar pillow made to bring an heirloom quality luxeness to your space. The Poko Chelsea Pillow is closed with three coconut buttons made to be shown, which makes the pillow's aesthetic versatile and different on both sides.
This pillow's composition is plant‐based, blended with cotton, linen, and lyocell. Lyocell is another name for the well-known material Tencel, and has a breathable texture less susceptible to bacteria growth and odor. Lyocell production on average needs less energy, dye, and water than the production of other fabrics, and because lyocell is a naturally‐derived fiber, it's biodegradable. In the lyocell production process, there are petrochemical solvents used to turn the wood pulp base into fiber, but his process is closed loop, which means that the chemicals can be recycled over and over again, which minimizes harmful waste.

A little bit about Pokoloko.
The Poko story starts in the back of a gold, stick-shift station wagon on its last legs. Jessie Lyon had come home to Ottawa, Canada from a year in Nicaragua where she helped a youth group start a bike rental service, and then she met Case Bakker. Case suggested they start their own conscious business selling blankets made by his Ecuadorian artisan friends whom he met on a recent trip. with dreams of more adventure and ways to give back they called it Pokoloko, from the Spanish saying "poco loco", meaning "a little bit crazy", which is what the artisans called them. Pokoloko has grown to more than just a saying it's a lifestyle all about living fully, slowing down to enjoying life's little luxuries, and choosing everyday to create a world connecting maker, owner and earth. To spread the Pokoloko spirit, Case, Jessie and their artisan friends designed and created blankets in more colours and patterns, designed to support the unique space of each person using them.
